ADHDAF+ FOUNDER

Laura Mears-Reynolds

From barmaid, to failed nail technician, to failed scuba diving instructor, to failed nightclub glitter artist, to failed festival trader… a National Diversity Awards nomination for Positive Role Model for Disability wasn’t something Laura could’ve envisaged for her future!
In fact, by late 2021 Laura was in such extreme mental health crisis that she saw no future for herself at all.
Unexpected privilege gave her access to private ADHD diagnosis and treatment which saved her life. The injustice of lifesaving treatment being a paid-for privilege or postcode lottery compelled her to raise ADHD awareness with the podcast ADHDAF.
The Leopard Print Army leader hosted both online and in-person peer support spaces; witnessing the empowerment and transformation through connection which inspired this charity.

ADHDAF+ Charity is dedicated to
Jodi Walsham,
all of our absent friends,
and to our ‘absent minded friends’
…The Leopard Print Army!

With special thanks to:
Cat Owens, Ally McDonald
and James Robinson
for all of their help in setting up the Charity
